The challenge
TechLink is a federal partnership intermediary that connects U.S. government and defense-lab technology to industry. The website had to turn a large, complex catalog of government technologies and patents into something companies could actually find and act on. The old site informed insiders but didn't scale to search demand, and the richest asset — federal patent and technology data — wasn't working for discovery at all.
The approach
I rebuilt the site from the ground up: new structure, navigation, and templates designed for a technology-transfer audience rather than a reskin of the old one. I integrated a live federal patent data feed so government technology data became searchable, browsable pages at scale, then built programmatic, data-driven SEO on top of that data. I led the cross-functional team of 10+ that shipped it — across SEO, paid search, paid social, and email — on the HubSpot stack.
The build
Four pillars, from structure to scale.

The redesign rebuilt the experience end to end for how a technology-transfer buyer actually navigates. The federal patent-feed integration turned raw government data into usable, searchable pages. Programmatic, data-driven SEO generated structured pages engineered to rank and capture demand across the technology catalog. And it shipped because I directed a cross-functional team of 10+ against one roadmap.
The results
New structure, navigation, and templates for a federal technology-transfer audience — a full redesign, not a reskin.
A live federal patent feed integrated into the site, turning government technology data into searchable, browsable pages at scale.
Structured pages engineered off that data to rank and capture demand across the technology catalog.
Directed a cross-functional team across SEO, paid search, paid social, and email on the HubSpot stack.
It's the earliest proof of the throughline in my work: take a complex catalog, turn it into a site people can find, and build the system that makes it scale.
