Challenge
Across a 37-product portfolio, the same product was described differently depending on who wrote the page. That inconsistency confused buyers, and it confused AI models, which could not form a clear, trustworthy picture of what each product was or when to use it. Fixing it meant changing how product, product marketing, and leadership talked about the entire portfolio, not just editing web copy.
My role
I led this across teams. I partnered with product and product marketing and brought VP-level stakeholders along, then set the standard the whole company now follows. This was influence and alignment work, not just execution.
Approach
- 01Introduced a brand-anchoring formula so every product and technology is described consistently, in plain language a non-expert and a model can both understand.
- 02Enforced consistent naming and entity data across the surfaces AI engines read and cite.
- 03Turned dense capability documentation into clear, structured, extractable answers.
- 04Instituted governance, a pre-launch review so new content stays consistent going forward.

What it proves
I operate at a leadership level: aligning product teams and executives around a standard, then making it stick. Translating complex, technical products into language buyers and machines both understand is most of the job, and it is what I do.
